Well I had a pleasant surprise this evening.....
One of my hosting accounts was due for renewal soon and after some auditing I realised that I no longer needed this account so put in a cancellation request. This evening, bearing in mind I live in the UK, I received a courtesy call from Hostgator to see if everything was OK and that there were no problems, I explained that the account was just surplus to requirements. I thought this was a real nice touch to what is already an excellent level of service provided by Hostgator and just adds to the many reasons why I will continue to recommend Hostgator and to use them for any future projects of my own. Oh and don't worry, just because I have cancelled a hosting account does not mean I wont be sticking around as I still have a number of other projects hosted at Hostgator - You don't get rid of me that easily!
