I installed OS Commerce on a test domain using Fantastico. I gave it a username and password, and by default, it created a database name called osc1. I am at a point now of attempting to install an OS Commerce template, but, I am running into a problem getting past the 2nd step. I have attached two screenshots showing my problem. Basically, what is the data that goes in the fields? Also, I have given the configure.php file permission 777. Are there other files that need this permission at this stage of the install? Thanks everyone.

The password is wrong.
The database does not use the password you gave for the username. You find the password in the file (osCroot)/includes/configure.php find a line like this: define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', 'thePasswordIsHere');

Thanks for the info quietFinn. That did it. I would have never known that. That info was not very apparent when I was reading the documentation. Thanks again.
