Default Newbie with questions...

I was referred here by a friend and have a few questions. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ok right now I have a message board( www.tradingmama.com) through xsorbit but we want to move up to a regular webiste WITH a message board/forum to offer more to our members etc. You can come to our site to take a look to see what needs to be done.

What do we need to do to acheive this? May sound dumb but but I am totally confused from reading so much info. Is it possible to move all of the info from the board we have now to another without moving thread by thread and not use the xsorbit?

Please help me.

thanks,
amy

Does your current host have a cpanel backend? If so we can make a backup of the site and transfer it over seamlessly. If not, we can do our best to move over all data and databases, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee it if it is not coming from a cpanel host.

It looks like the current board is hosted with a company that just provides message boards so I would be surprised if it is a cPanel setup. You would need to contact the current host to determine if the information can be transfered as it looks like a proprietary system.
