Newbie question regarding the addon domain function

Hello, I've just purchased a "baby" hosting package yesterday. I've attempted to create a new domain several times but I have been recieving this message everytime...

The domain you have specified does not conform to domain name rules.


Removed Entry from httpd.conf The subdomain, succubus-wings.eventflyer.net has been removed.

newdomain could not be setup.
The subdomain newdomain.eventflyer.net was not setup either.

What exacly are the domain name rules?

I've attempted several ways of filling in the addon domain form also, but recieve pretty much the same message everytime. =/

An addon domain cannot be name.domain.tld as that is a subdomain, and you can only add domain.com in the addon domains area

You need to use the subdomains section to add the succubus-wings subdomain to the eventflyer.net domain

Also good to read the cPanel documentation
