Well i thought this would be easy, but for the life of me I cant seem to find the correct username and password to get in.
Does it not need my email addy and pass that I have setup with my baby croc account? Thanks, Dennis |

If you are going to:
webmail.hostgator.com you use: (your-account-name-at-HG)@(your-account-domain-at-HG) and the password for your account-here-at-HG You don't use the email address associated with your account for contact purposes. (Which, by the way, SHOULD NOT be an email address with your domain here at HG. It should be a completely "offsite" email address so you can get notification in case of suspension, or other problems, that would prevent you getting to your account in the first place.) Hope that all made sense.... |

Well I have tried every name and pass I can think of. I can get to my HG account ok, but this has me whipped.
I have a baby croc account, one website, and one forum setup here. My domain brmcoa.org is registered at godaddy. |

I realize its much later... but to mention/ask... I tried this (see quoted) and I only get an error page (whether I use the secure page method of otherwise). Has this changed?
Here is the error: "Not Found The server was not able to find the document (./webmailpassd.cgi) you requested. Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this error to your webhost." Quote:

hello, a question, as I set FeLaMiMail, know him? is a virtual office of eGroupWare, I am missing some data to configure the mail, asking me the following,
Standard mailserver settings (used for Mail authentication too): POP/IMAP mail server hostname or IP address: Mail server protocol: IMAP IMAPS Mail server login type: standard (login-name identical to eGroupWare user-name) Virtual mail manager (login-name includes domain) Mail domain (for Virtual mail manager): SMTP server hostname or IP address: SMTP server port: User for SMTP-authentication (leave it empty if no auth required): Password for SMTP-authentication: if someone can help me configure it would greatly help, thank you very much |

Very easy. It's the same installation instructions as squirrelmail. Just uploading a few files and setting a few configuration parameters. There's information included with the install, on this board, and all over the web for help. You can also post if you try and have an issue.

Anybody that's a hostgator client can go to webmail.hostgator.com to use their nutsmail install.
If you are a reseller and don't want to show the hostgator name, you can always install your own copy of squirrelmail (free) or nutsmail (about $30) on your own domain.

Can nutsmail not be installed on a shared account then?

You should be able to install it on a shared account. I have installed SquirrelMail on a shared account in the past.
