I dont get it why would anyone want to purchase that when you can just install Squirrelmail and add the plugins yourself and adjust the template however you like. Not to mention you can set up the powered by link as you wish to.

As you can with Nutsmail. The Squirrel Mail skins look pretty ordinary and we're only talking $35US.

Not really, the IP address is for a HostGator server. Entering the IP alone goes to the default apache page that HG is apparently using now and that is a searchportal page. If the original question was how to configure that it is not possible. It is set up on the server as a default.

Is there anyway to add this mail as a cPanel option? i prefer accessing my mail through yourdomain.com/webmail, and when i do that i have 3 options of email clients, can you add it there?

The options in cPanel are controlled by cPanel. I would not expect to see additional options any time soon.

I doubt they would, because then they would need to get a license for each server

infoit--do what many of us do, and install your own version of nutsmail (Which is all this is) for your clients to use. I installed it on webmail.mydomain.com. One installation will be fine for all your clients.

Nothing good comes free these days.
i saw the price on the website, 35US one time fee. but it seems this will only be for one webmail.myaccname.com, i can not use the template to replace the one i have. |

You can get squirrelmail for free, but nutsmail is a very nice version of it.
You can install it on a subdomain or folder, but not as a replacement in cPanel.

Has there been any progress on making this great new webmail app available to resellers as an option?

I always encourage resellers to just install their own. You can get the free one (squirrelmail) or the more nicely branded one (about $29, nutsmail), but by installing it yourself you'll have far more control over all the plugins and administration squirrelmail is great for.
It's a very easy installation as well.

![]() From what I have seen in the forums, it's not so great with mail delays and problems with the ip addresses they use still becoming black or grey listed.

I personally use highly customed version of SquirrelMail. Nutsmail is basically only a skin - all plugins can be installed for free. But I agree that Nutsmail looks far more better. Still, I need some advanced features that are not available in SM or NM like setting monday as the first day of week in calendar and more advanced address book - had to code them myself.
In fact, SquirrelMail's default addressbook is crap. I spend hours to make a plugin similar to Turba which comes with Horde.

Can someone at Host Gator provide instructions to Resellers on how to install "Nutmail" and make it work? It would be helpful for us beginners. jvalentin1 |

The instructions are included with the file. You just upload the files they give you and change some settings in the configuration file. Try it-- if you have trouble, search for what you couldn't figure out and post if it hasn't been asked before.

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 10:28 PM.

However I dont wanna give this address (webmail.hostgator.com) to my clients.. They should be login to webmail with their domain names like horde.
