Hi there,

I joined up 4 days ago and paid this month straight away.

I was then told to transfer my .co.uk domain name it would cost me money. Also that my forum would loose posts upto 72 hours (I questioned this before I signed up and was told everything would be fine).

So I decided to cancel and that's where my problems are. 24 hours after cancelling I receive a phone call asking me to stay and offering me one free month. I kindly declined the offer and the lady said she would cancel my contract.

For the last 3 days I have been trying to get a refund and my account closed, I've spoke to loads of people through the live help chat and each time am assured it will be done in the next few hours.

This site was highly recommended to me and I am very disappointed how I have been treated because I wish to cancel.

I still have no refund, explanation or a time of when it will be done..

Can you please provide the ticket ID for the cancellation request so we can look into this further for you?

Hello,

I see that you replied on the 21st and again on today, which knocks your ticket to the bottom of the queue as tickets are done oldest to newest.

I have notified the cancellations department and the cancellation and refund are being processed right now.

Perhaps it is worth mentioning to your live chat staff not to tell people to post in the ticket again as that is what I was told to do..

Anyway, thank you for resolving this.

We never advertised free domain transfers so I'm not sure how we can be penalized for this.


This is how transfers are done anywhere you go as from the time it's transferred and your dns change is made posts are going to be made on both hosts thus losing some threads. (there's really no way around this)

I can understand you getting frustrated, but was there anything else we could have done to avoid this?
