(new) Supra problems to report: Please do not post duplicate issues

This thread has been created to get a list of all the problems that we might not be aware of on supra that need to be fixed.


Things we know about that cannot be fixed.
Data that was lost as a result of having to use the raid one drive that has content that is a month-old.

Passwords not working for resellers main accounts and cpanel user accounts. The fix for this is if you are a reseller and you cannot login please e-mail support@hostgator.com with the password you would like your username reset to. To fix your cpanel users. You must login to your whm and modify their password from there.

Please post any problems not mentioned above. Also, make sure not to post something fellow users of already posted. If we solve your problem please edit your post to say solved.

My websites are back up and cpanel bugs are resolved BUT I still have one site that uses oscommerce/php/sql that is not coming up due to errors.

I believe there are still SQL permission issues, I need this fixed ASAP i have clients who rely on their ecommerce sites because it IS their business.

configure.php DOES exist and is in the right place.

I still can't get to the ip address whm. Maybe since it was down it has not resolved yet.

Brent I've changed hosts but I still need access to my paid data here.I've sent a e-mail about 6 hours ago and still not a response from tech support. At this point I just want to move on amd put this nasty issue behind me but I would hope that I can recover some of my data from your system.

is anyone elae not getting emails sent to their HG accounts bounced? It was all working well a few hours ago and now it gone belly up again. Any ideas??

Hi,

No FTP accounts are working. Me, and my clients, are unable to create FTP users. Further, the default FTP user is not there either.



Please fix these ASAP!

configure.php DOES exist and is in the right place.

This has nothing to have with MySQL. It is a PHP error.
As you can see the include path is (include_path='/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/lib/php') - it searches for configure.php into the above dirs.
The right include path is
(include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/lib/php') - that is FIRSTLY searching in current dir.
This must be fixed in php.ini - OR can be customised in .htaccess

php_value include_path '.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/lib/php' or something like that I believe
- it can also be changed in the php scripts
ini_set("include_path", ".:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/lib/php"); (well this has to be inserted in every page of OSC!)

we are all having the same problems. everything is in the hands of HG, so we are stuck at their working speed......

It is obvious HG must edit the php.ini file and set include_path to search firstly in current dir!

the problem is with HG its not with our sites or files. they are all fine. the server is to be blamed...

how much longer do we need to deal with this outage? In a webhosing world a week of outage is a HUGE slap in the face...

Just tried to log into CPANEL...

Having a problem with security certificate now...

"The security certificate was issues by a company you have not choosen to trust. View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority."

The security certificate date is valid.

The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name on ths site."

All user accounts show incorrect "space used".

I'm really curious... is anything in Supra still being addressed or is HG trying to drive away the rest of the Supra users so they won't have to deal with it?

I submitted a trouble ticket at 10:30 am this morning and still have not heard anything back from HG.

Brent and you HG guys:
Get your damn act together will you. This is getting bl**dy crazier by the hour. It has now been over a week. It is a disgrace. I do hope you are working on this and will have the common decency to tell us if you are not. Are you just letting Supra and its customers go? If so tell us so we can go and find new hosts before we are all completey broke. We NEED a update. We need our emails back online. If you cant do it then say so. hell, just say something!
