Default New To SSL

Has anyone used LiteSSL? I would like to start to encrypt my client's information when I open for business. Would you recommend installing the SSL on a subdomain (secure.website.com) or to the root domain (website.com). Is everything auto-encrypted after I install the SSL or is there something special I have to do to the files? Is installing SSLs easy or should I just pay HG $10 to do it for me? Thanks.

Never used LiteSSL, they are all about the same.

Depends on how you use it. If you go for the subdomain, your forms and scripts will all need to be on the sub domain.

No, only things accessed via https:// You shouldn't run everthing through the SSL, only the stuff that needs to be secure. https is slower than http.

Takes about a minute to install, isn't very technical and is simple, but HG never screws it up, so YMMV.
