New Silver reseller with some questions

I just signed up today after having some major issues with the old host.

1. How long does it take to get approved for the forums. I'm having some issues with the setup process.. namely:

2. I'm having problems upgrading my reseller master account to the bandwidth/storage package I created in the reseller control panel. I'd like to ask for help on the forum.

3. I'm not that technical. Basically bought the reseller package to host a couple of non-profits I work with and some personal web/mail projects. Do you have to create
the domains here on WG before asking to transfer the websites from the old service ?

2. In WHM > Upgrade/Downgrade an Account > Click your account > Modify > Click the new package you want to use, etc....

Thanks, I did that originally and no account appeared to click on.

I'll look around some more. Definitely not that familiar
with the control panel here yet.

It has to be there. Check again. If no luck submit a ticket to HG support.

Nope I looked everywhere... not there.

I opened a ticket.

I also created some client accounts and they appear just fine using your path above, and I was able to use the package I created to set them up.

I'll drive this through the support channel now.

So far my experience with a simple reseller setup has been a nightmare.

I'm starting to wonder if I made a big mistake by making the choice to move here.

Yes it definately seems like a nightmare. Im completely lost and don't know where to begin.

I just had to comment on this post, i feel your pain. I'm on day three and just figured out how to create packages and realized what i have to do to sell them.
