Do you have to have a credit card in order to use your hosting?

You can use PayPal also, which I believe has the ability to attach a bank account to it. You would need to check with PayPal on that though. If you are concerned about security, I don't think you should be. I trust HostGator and they have never abused my credit card. They are an excellent company who has many staff members who truly care about your satisfaction.

If you have a CC then better use that otherwise use paypal and I guess they accepet check from US too...
