New to Hostgator and so far am loving it

Just bought a 6 month baby gator trial and so far have been having a great experience. They are more up to date with php etc than my current host and although it has only been a week, so far very impressed.

Had a few issues related to the move, and used support ticket system and nearly fell over to find the turnaround on them was only a few hours.

Then, more shock horror, actual solutions were presented rather than just a please read our docs or FAQs, despite one of my questions being rather stupid. (I blame hours of upload nearly a gig worth of files thru a ftp that kept crapping out on me lol). And not only did they give concise, easy to understand answers, but went so far as to actually fix a problem by modifying the right files for me.

I have been looking at switching hosts for a long time now, and have been very stressed about what to do. Decided after reading some forums that HG would be worth a shot. Assumign this 6 months goes as well as the first week, i will be moving into the croc pond permanently.

Just put in another ticket to request the new version of cpanel, and it was responded to quickly and I now have my shiny new cpanel and am loving it.

First month in the croc pond and thought i would update.
I cannot say enough good things about hostgator, they have just been fantastic so far. every issue resolved (none of which were their fault either, all essentially relating to moving host).

Staff are professional and efficient and I have been telling everybody how happy i am at my new host (even got someone to sign up too).

I originally bought this as a test run, as i had no idea if new host was going to be worse than old host, but am happy to say i am shutting down my old account and have settled in very nicely here!!!

thanks Hostgator, you have completely converted me (although we call them crocs in Aussie, and i dont think you can convert me on that.. lmao!!!)
