I think this forum could use a new section, a place for posting about issues regarding the forum itself.
For example, the "View first unread" link at the top left of a thread is coded incorrectly, and actually takes you out of the thread entirely. An example - one such link is: http://forums.hostgator.com/#post204561 That doesn't take you to that post number. It just takes you back to the main index. Second example: I've been getting an awful lot of timeout errors in here lately, indicating either that the forum needs to be on a server with a bit more horsepower (vBulletin is known to be a resource hog), or that its database needs some help. There's no suitable forum section for posting stuff like this. It's not really "Off Topic," but there's no other section that makes sense, either. |

You are right about the bug. But since there aren't too many such issues, I guess "Off topic" would be goog enough.
