Though i would write a quick little review... very short hehe!

Ive been with MANY hosts in the past, im an australian, and of course aussie servers are fast because i live here, but i find host gator server transfer speeds very close to that of other hosts ive had (who are aussie servers).

Im a bit of a net enthusiest and run a few gaming sites. So i always have a lot of things i have to change when i get to a new host, ie. setting up domain records, mx records, name servers, etc.. etc.. etc..

To this point though, hostgator have the best customer service of ANY web host ive used in the past. And even though its been a week, ive used all the different ways for support... phone, web chat and tickets.

Web Chat - If u want admin support for changes with records and major server changes like that web chat isnt for you... BUT any other questions are answered flawlessly... im very happy to say that web chat is the fastest way to get instant support.

Phone - Altough the wait times can sometimes get up to 20 minutes, its worth it in the end.. They may read off sheets.. but they generally have an ADVANCE IT knowledge and understand us, as web hostees.

Ticket System - Very good way to get a long personal response with every answer possible. Ie... ill say i want to do this, and they may come back with 3 different methods and describe them.

Ive used Web chat around 10 times now, phone twice and ticket system only once..

However SO FAR (touch wood) ... customer service 10/10...
