Network outage - Multiple servers [RESOLVED]

We're currently experiencing a network outage at our datacenter which is affecting multiple shared and VPS servers. The outage appears to be the result of a down router at The Planet's D6 datacenter. We're working closely with them to get this corrected as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

The network issue has been resolved and all servers are back online.

As I understand it, hostgator have a partnership with the planet, but I don't think they use all servers for the planet, just some?

Anyway, even if they did maybe the planets network status does not include the servers used by hostgator, if they contain only hostgator customers?

I've been a customer for all of two days and I have experienced an update outage on cpanel and now a network outage. I don't even have my site fully ported over yet. Not feeling the love here.....This is the most my site has been down the past two years.

2. 100% Planet Network Availability Assurance: The Planet assures Customer 100% uptime availability of The Planet Network covered by this SLA. I've been with HG for over a year - this is the first time we've had an outage. Give it a rest people and let them fix it. We aren't happy either btu shit happens. I'll take once a year over once a day like I had in the past with Blue Host/Hostmonster and 1 on 1

When I first signed up with HostGator (about a year ago), there were multiple outages, which raised my concern level a lot!! However, I have not seen a significant outage in 11 months. I hope this current situation is resolved quickly.

I agree - but you know what I have noticed with every host i have ever used? My sites can be down, but THEIR main site is always FINE.. I don't mean to complain here, but umm... can I be put on *THAT* server / node ?!?!
