Network Issues affecting Verizon Customers
We are currently aware of an issue affecting almost all Verizon residential/business customers. A Verizon technician confirmed that the issues are due to a routing issue in Virginia. Routes that have been confirmed are that Atlanta, Boston, New York, and Washington State are all being affected at this time and cannot access The Planet's network, and subsequently, sites at HostGator.
We are aware of the issue, along with The Planet and Verizon. They are working to correct the issue as quickly as possible, but at this time we have no estimated time from them. We do apologize and thank you for your patience.

We are now hearing multiple reports from clients and seeing traceroutes going through properly to Verizon IP's at this time and from what we can see the problem appears to be corrected. If you are still having issues and are on verizon.net please PM me with your IP. Thank you!
