Need to Upgrade to a Newer version of Soholaunch Pro

In testing out Soholaunch Pro, it looks like Host Gator is only up to version 4.6...at least that is waht the readme file shows in file manager. However, version 4.9xxx is available. How can I request that a newer version of Soho Launch Pro be upgraded? Is it a licensing or cost issue?

There have beensome bug fixes which would be beneficial.

Hostgator doesn't supply Soho launch. That is a Fantastico feature, which has nothing at all to do with HG.

If you want a more up to date version, you will need to manually install it.

You can request via a Support Ticket for them to upgrade the Fantastico version. Which should contain an updated Soholaunch. Not sure about the 4.6 branch but the newer versions have a Software Update option in the Webmaster panel. You can use that to update yourself.

The answer is no. HG can't update Fantastico.

I think he ment upgrade Fantastico to the latest version, not actually update the installs listed on fantastico. There is a nice little cron that will do it for them but they obviously dont have it set-up as the Fantastico version contains the most recent Soholaunch.
