Need a Server Dedicated for eMail

Hi, one of my client wants to send 20,000+ mails per hour to his subscribers. He is not a spammer, he have huge subscribers crowd and wants to send mails about the updates in city for every hour.

So is this possible with any Dedicated server available with HostGator ??

Ya, he is asking same as the service by http://www.mailchimp.com/ but wants to run it with his own server..

Is he wanting to create a service like mailchimp or is he sending emails out every hour to the same 20,000 people?

@Chimpie, at first he wants to send mails to 20K persons. And he is in plan to start a service like Mail Chimp soon once he got the details about how to do...
