Question Need help on moving to hostgator

hello this is my 1st post!
My dad own a website named: www.cypruspropertiesguide.com and it is host to a unknown for me hoster!!

The issue is that i want to transfer the domain name here when i will buy a web hosting plan from gator. but i dont know how to do that and also i may want to change the whole website and build a new one.i saw some templates here in gator about real estates (thats what my dads site is about) and i dont know if i will manage to do it properly so i may need some suggestions how to do that properly and without paying others to do it. i know something about coding and making sites so i willl know something!! thanks for ur help

If you mean, move your registration, you'd need to contact its current registry, Tucows, first:

registration details for cypruspropertiesguide.com

The domain appears to be hosted by something called devotedhost.biz.

Here are the steps:

1. Make sure you can login to the account at the domain registrar.
2. Sign up for HG account with email not connected to domain.
3. Change nameservers at registrar to those provided by HG in welcome email.

Then upload content, cancel old account, etc. If you want the old content, HG can try to move it.

If you want new content, you can make it look pretty much like anything you want.
