I’m using private nameservers on my new reseller account. I’ve spent the last week getting everything set up and waiting for domains to resolve, etc. Everything finally seems to be working properly.
Now when I check dnsreport.com for domains of the sites I’m hosting, they indicate three failures in the NS (nameserver) section of their report: 1. “FAIL: You have one or more missing (stealth) nameservers.” 2. “ERROR: One or more of the nameservers listed at the parent servers are not listed as NS records at your nameservers.” 3. “Your DNS servers leak stealth information in non-NS requests” HostGator Support tells me that all of its resellers get the same errors at dnsreport and he guarantees me to have no problems with it. I have no reason not to believe him but just wondering what others have experienced. Thanks for your feedback. Jim |
