Never felt so lost in my life as trying to figure out this VPS server.
Apart from the IP table issue I think I have most of it going. I have one question. I set up my name servers with godaddy as follows NS1 174.132.126.210 NS2 174.132.126.211 (This one according to a Hostgator info page) Now I received a message from the server that the hostname at server1.leadingwebexposure should resolve to 174.132.126.210 In the resolve.conf file the current entries are: nameserver 216.185.111.10 nameserver 69.56.222.10 Changing it to; NS1 174.132.126.210 NS2 174.132.126.211 causes the domain to not resolve anymore. What should these be set to? |

Ok think I got it resolved.
When I logged into WHM I received a message that the A record was missing. Added an A record for server1. |

Don't change those, they don't mean the same as your nameservers.
