Oh great, the forum comes back up but I can`t access the different categories, I just get various mysql errors.

Now the forum is down completely again with a different error.

I get this when trying to access a catagory

Quote:
mySQL query error: SELECT pid, post_date FROM ibf_posts WHERE queued <> 1 AND topic_id='1023' AND post_date > '1101586086' ORDER BY post_date LIMIT 1
mySQL error: Can't open file: 'ibf_posts.MYI'. (errno: 144)
mySQL error code:

Bob, can you verify if this has been corrected on your end? I am able to view your forums w/o any errors now.

Yes, I was very impressed with support they resolved the issue after a few emails. I would still like to know what the problem was, as I got a very vague explanation!! I asked at IPB, and they said these kind of errors is usually a disk space problem.

Looks as though we`re out of disk space on Disk sda6 (/tmp), with the ole red light flashing 100%.

Just emailed support.

This isn't mysql related, but I have a question. Why does Gator3 repeatedly have problems, when no others do? Why are these problems very rarely addressed, as well? These threads pop up and nothing is ever done. Even as I speak, my site is slow-loading, something not loading at all, for no apparent reason. FTP was slow a few days ago, there's always various problems with Gator3, yet we're kept in the dark as to why it always happens to us.

I`ve had a lot of problems with FTP lately, at times it`s so slow wsftp or any other client I use times out. Last night I could not upload or download anything, it was just too slow. I`ve emailed support many times and they say there is nothing wrong with it Yet, I have two other account with other hosts and the ftp works fine, so it cannot be my end. Nothing worse that not being able to FTP a site

Ps. I`ll give credit where it`s due however, the mysql issue was fixed within twenty minutes of raising a ticket.
