Hi,
I've done some searching on the forums and found some conflicting information about HG support for INNODB in mysql, can someone tell me the current status of INNODB support? Is it available for accounts using a shared server? If not, is it available for dedicated server accounts ? Not anxious to go to dedicated, but it is important to know whether that is available as an upgrade path if/when my sites get busy enough to need it... thx -tom |

Not sure about the status on shared accounts, you could contact support for a definitive answer by using Live Chat or emailing sales (at) hosthator.com.
On a dedicated server you have control over the set up so you could add it if you wanted. |

InnoDB is not available through phpMyAdmin on a shared account by default however I think I saw somewhere that it can be enabled by support (but I may well be wrong.
Like Rick said, the best bet is to contact support for a real definitive answer.

The most current answer was in this post. Contact support if you want to be transfered to a shared server having innodb.
