Hi, simple question here:
Does the "Hatchling" package have all the required technical tools to host a small forum using MyBB? It looks like it does, but I wanted to make sure before committing. I'm sure there is some documentation [or another post] somewhere listing how to go about setting up a forum on HG using MyBB...if anyone happens to have a link to such a post handy, I would appreciate it. Thanks, David |

From looking at their website you should not have any problems running the script from any HG account. Installation looks pretty straightforward if you follow their directions. They do recommend chmodding some folders to 777 and on a server here you should use 755 instead.

Yep, I had it running around 6 months ago perfectly.

Be careful with MyBB. It looks like they are using 'free' as a way to beta test their software. Pretty soon I bet it will be a $$$ app. There are just to many restrictions.
I went to install it and the license reads like some shyster wrote it. I subsequently quit the install and bought vBulletin. |
