My web is 4-5 hours offline and NOBODY in hostgator reply my emails

What type of attention is this?, live chat for what?, for give me the support email?.

My web www.minimalnet.org is 4-5 hours offline, I wrote to support and I am still waiting some explantion.

The machine is online and has been online for 2 days 8 hours and 13 minutes since the new kernel was installed :

It looks like apache has failed on the server. i can't access apache, but i can get to cpanel.

GatorFord Then that not is normal, I am from Spain and my site here is totally off at least 5 hours, nor me nor my friends can access, everyone living in fair points inside the country.

I am very disagree with the ticket (support@hostgator.com) attention lately, from 2-3 months ago it is slow and bad.

Now, I hope Hostgator support hear our voices and take look at this issue seriously. I have not idea what exactly is the problem but it seems this is network issue because from some locations the sites are loading.

Thank you, sometimes between that my english is bad, I contact by mail with hostgator and they needs 24 hours to reply, and I see my web offline, I am feel really impotent.

I hope somebody solve that soon too.

Hostcator support, are you on vacation? How many clients should to contact you to take an action? At last answer the tickets with simply reply "we are working on this"

While some peoples can load the sites I should ask, are you do some access filtering to your servers?

No, we are 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and 24 hours a day. Furthermore, multiple locations can connect to the site, but there are some having a problem :

This means that they are supplying the NS records (host.example.com), but not supplying the A records (192.0.2.53), which can cause slightly slower connections, and may cause incompatibilities with some non-RFC-compliant programs. This is perfectly acceptable behavior per the RFCs. This will usually occur if your DNS servers are not in the same TLD as your domain (for example, a DNS server of "ns1.example.org" for the domain "example.com"). In this case, you can speed up the connections slightly by having NS records that are in the same TLD as your domain.

Hmm just doesn't look like a DNS problem from here, minimalnet.org resolves fine, there is however nothing answering on port 80 on gator205 where the site is located.

It looks like one of the admins mitigated an attack on the server last night on gator205 and a large number of IP's were blocked due to this. I've removed these and they should be loading from remote locations now.

Your account is on achieva, a reseller and completely different server than this one, which was getting an Apache denial fo of server attack at nearly 5000 connections from the 88.xx.xx.xx blocks which I've blocked at this time. Please let us know if you continue to see issues.
