Default My users are occasionally getting this...

...when they try to visit my forums. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it's happening to a few several times a day. Any ideas what's going on?

Editing to add: It's only happening to users with IE. The same users can use Firefox to get on without a problem.

I'm getting the same intermittent error.

Only with IE and Opera, NOT Firefox.

Have you submitted a support ticket?

I just did.

UPDATE: Within about five minutes, support emailed they had fixed the problem. I'm on server tiburon, so if people on other servers are having the problem, maybe refer them to whatever they did on tiburon.

Thanks. I'll submit a ticket if it happens again. Maybe they've fixed it everywhere.

Well, I may have posted too soon... my "fix" is broken again at the moment. Darn.

Cool Re: My users are occasionally getting this...

I had the same problem. It first showed up last week and again today. Called Support 2 hours ago and they did not mention this cPanel issue despite the multiple outages. Called again 5 minutes ago and got a smart Support Tech. Problem finally fixed.

PS - Why was this not fixed on all cPanel installations right away. Because of poor Support originally, I wasted 2 hours scanning my PC to root out the problem in IE thinking it was a local issue.

Glad to see I'm not the only one, as I have been having the exact same problem on Gator125. It only happens in IE while Firefox works fine. Attempting to load my page in IE results in an endless loop, or in the page only loading partially with junk text showing up everywhere.

I could start making jokes about Microcrap's IE being so finicky it can't even handle a server hiccup, but I'm too tired today.

I submitted a ticket as well, BTW.

I spent a couple of hours heavily editing my site when it happened, and the whole time I was thinking it was something I did wrong that caused my site to blow up in IE. I think I need to have better faith in my web designing skills.

I reopened my ticket. It's causing problems again on aerostar. Did someone say this was a cpanel issue?

Red face Re: My users are occasionally getting this...

Same here! The problem is back! I re-opened my ticket. Support is aware of it working to fix. I asked for permanent solution so this serious issue doesn't keep rearing its ugly head.

Please HG, fix it for good! We all have too much riding on this. We hope this can be resolved once and for all. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
