My Software Guides Site

My website is www.softwareweb.co.uk, i've been running the site for about 2 months - the visitor count has risen as it makes it's way through the search engines.
I just need some honest reviews - site look and feel, writing style/layout of the guides, content e.t.c. My main goal is to provide something people will want to come back to over and over (don't we all ).

I appreciate any feedback you have for me.
One idea I implemented only the other day is to have an associated Blog - which is available at iainr.softwareweb.co.uk, and is referenced from the main site. Just lets me add more hints and tips that aren't worth of a full guide - I haven't decided if it's worth it yet or not, time will tell .

The design is my biggest worry - I'm no good at graphic stuff, so it all kind of falls into place as I try different layout etc
