My Site! ^_^

hey,

Got hosted with HostGator a week ago or more. Quite happy with the move so far (no problems at all!). Coming from a HardDrive crash so i kinda had to start over alittle.

Anyway, just wanted to see what everyone thought of my site.

Main site is coded/designed by me and the forums are skinned by me aswell.

Anyway, comments and suggestions please!

I like the colors, design, & the layout.

If I will have to change some stuff it will be font color of the top menu.

I think it's a very good start for someone who is new to this. I was going to ask which CMS it was because I couldn't tell by just browsing around...The colors would not be my choice, but I must say that they are matched well and readable. Great start

My only gripe would be about color choices. Your main navigation buttons at the top are gray-white gradients on a gray background. Hard to read. And the "For those who give a" on the right is almost illegible because of the black shading on the gray background.

Similarly, "openpost" on the orange background is hard to read. Always strive for high contrast on foreground fonts over background colors. The main body text works well, with white on dark grey.

Pretty layout and imagery on the logo.

yea, the navigation has a mouse-over effect, so the white/grey text turns orange. And yea i just haven't gotten around to changing the "for those who....". The openpost thing is an affiliates button, so i dont really have control over that .
