Default my questions)

I want to register new domain name, then purchase "baby" hosting and then move my other domain name to hosting.

How could I do it?

does it means that you could simply move all files of my site from old hosting to hostgator?

Yes. They did that for me last week, my files were moved really fast and I only had downtime for about 20 hours (It was my fault) It could have been less but I had problems with a file permission that was not letting my site be displayed properly.

Buy the domain, buy the hosting, change the Nameservers of the domain to the HG Nameservers. Done.
