Hello, excuse my ignorance, but I have the following questions:
What is my mysql host name?. I have to put an ip as host of mysql?, Because I have dynamic ip and I was rather difficult. Hostgator does not give me a host mysql?, For example, "mysql.hostgator.com"??? I hope answers. Of course, thank you very much. |

Try: localhost

localhost should work, as the mysql and web server are same. In any case, just check the page title of your phpMyAdmin - that should show the mysql server as well.

Well since you talked about your IP I am guessing you are talking about remote mysql. You can set up wildcards for your IP using % or you can just update your IP when it changes.
As for the hostname it is just your main domain. EI: mydomain.com |
