Gator36 is down again, still consistently having problems.

Yes, what has been going on these past few days. I've never had any of these problems before so this concerns me.

Wow! Just got more news and it isn't pretty. Farhosting also uses "The Planet" and even their dedicated server members are experiencing problems. The one I talked to is in the process of moving to another provider.
Well I'm a lowly $5 a month subscriber, I can image the pain in being a dedicated server customer with mission critical applications having these issues. Still doesn't make me feel all that much better. But in the overall light of things I'm not hurting much. With the type of monies Hostgator is obviously paying "The Planet", and Hostgator's reputation and bottom lines at stake, it seems only right that a face to face is in order.

Yeah it's a bit of a pain. I'm working on a new subdomain at the moment and it's taking forever, between the FTP going down, MySQL falling over and general http connection failures. Stevie is not a happy bunny

After an almost perfect day yesterday (as far as I noticed, though I wasn't working all day) things are back to the usual connection failures today. I think this has been going on almost a week now. I've not opened a ticket myself as I'm sure there are already pleanty open...has anyone with an open ticket received any updates from HG?

I had opened a ticket, and support closed the ticket a few moments later. They indicated that things look to be alright from their end. I'm having problems too, and have been having problems for the past few days. Site (hosted on gator36) has been up and down for the past few days. Today I did open a ticket though.
I think I may go back and reopen the ticket and indicate that other members are having problems as well with gator36. Regards, DBlack |

I'm just wondering - since the persistent problems seem to be just Gator36, could it be that the physical server itself is gradually breaking down? If it's a newer box with a warranty - I would think whomever HostGator purchased the box from should be replacing it for you

I've set a personal timetable of a week. Hopefully things seem to be getting stable again, today only one server disconnection error so far. That's a wonderful start.

I believe this is the same problems everybody was having when the network was down. I have been monitoring the server closely and have not seen any further issues.
please e-mail me directly as well a support if you see something come up right away.
