Default My Customer Domain Renewals

I have a reseller account with Hostgator and eNom. My customers can easily purchase new domain names when signing up for hosting services from my website. That is the easy part.

I am trying to provide them with the ability to "renew" their domain names from my site as well. My WHM AutoPilot sends them an email telling them their domain is about to expire but they always have to call me so that I can renew it for them.

Is there a way to easily update the API or some setting on my eNom reseller account to give them that ability? All they can do right now is change customer information and DNS server information. And that is not even through my site.

Thanks,
Bert

If you have a reseller account with eNom, it is you who pay for the "renewal", then you need an interface to collect the money from your customer and then do the "renewal" with eNom yourself.

Unfortunately the actual version 2.0.60 of WHMAP application is still not able to do that. Mostly because it cannot even order only a domain, without a hosting package. This could be done by modifying the WHMAP sources or by creating a script doing just the eNom part after payment is received by you.

WHMAP sources beeing encoded the only part you can do yourself is using the eNom API. There should be some already existing scripts doing this, i would recommend you to Google around to find them or hire someone to code it for you...

P.S. As a last resort you could create sub-accounts for your customers and allow them to deal with their domains themself.

Thank you for the response.

I was considering upgrading my WHMAP to 3.2.65. Do you know if that version provides that ability?

Either way, do you know if upgrading to 3.2.65 is worth the trouble that it may be?

Thanks again,
Bert

I had a quick look at Version 3.2.65 and it do not seem to have bring any more functionalities to the domain management compared to 2.5.60.

If you need an official confirmation you could go to Brandee Diggs website and ask him directly:

http://www.whmautopilot.com/

You would have to create a new invoice for the domain renewal and after receiving the payment, go do the "renewal" at eNom...
