Mustang Issues

Could I please get information as to what was going on with Mustang, yesterday 7th December 2004

I have noticed 3/4 of all my clients FTP accounts are gone. They just disappeared sometime over the past 48 hrs. If you are on MUSTANG, check all of your client accounts. I have wrote support.

It should be fixed as of last night, do you still have any missing accounts? Please email me you ticket IDs if you are, sales@hostgator.com and in the subject put ATTENTION Ben.

Ben, it has been done. I have many accounts without their original FTP account. Check web.ftp logs to see they were there on the 4th for a few of the domains, now they are gone. Huge security issue in my mind.

We have checked your issue and noticed that the problem that you faced was a cpanel bug and that is why you faced this issue we have fixed that and also updated cpanel so that you don't face this issue again so please readd your ftp accounts . So please check this and let us know if you have any other questio regarding this issue so that we can assist you further.
