Question Multiple web sites (connected to by individual domain names) in one account

A Swamp account comes with unlimited domains. Add on domains are free. With add on domains, I can take my 10 domain names with other registrars and direct each to one of 10 DIFFERENT web sites in my Swamp account. Please verify if this is correct.

This is correct. You have two ways of using domains on shared accounts.

One is an add-on domain. this will mean that www.domain1.com and www.domain2.com will show 2 entirely different sites. It will create a subdirectory within your public_html folder that you can specicfy. Under this, it will create your new domain's own cgi-bin directory, and even set up an FTP account for it. Using that FTP account will deny access to any folders below the created directory.

The second type is a parked domain. This will mean that www.domain1.com and www.domain2.com will both show the exact same content. They are "parked" on top of each other.

Thanks for your quick and detailed answer.
Will my domain names always "mask" or hide the ip address and subdirectory from users?

I have 2 web sites right now. Each has an FTP account for my friend. He can only access 1 directory on each web site. (He uploads files and I add an html file for other users to download his files through.) Each directory has a limitation of 1 gig of memory. Can I do the same here?
Furthermore, sense I will have 1 account here (instead of 2 with my old web host), can I give him 1 FTP account that will be able to access a subdirectory on 2 of my web sites, rather than 2 separate FTP accounts?
