I'm looking to have 2/3 servers with Hostgator.. Not sure on which package yet.
My question is as follows: I would like to be able to allocate resource from Server1 and Server2 to a specific client... So for argument sake John Smith would have Apache / Exim on Server1 and MySql on Server2 But would administer it all from his control panel. and not have to login to multiple CP's Obviously when he is setting up websites and things he would use IP's or hostnames to communicate between the 2/3 machines but the actual administering via CP is the main problem here. Could you advise of a solution you may have in place or something you could do?

I believe cPanel offers this solution, as it has a option for remote MySQL servers in WHM.

Haha, yeah. That's also why I'm going with HostGator. Currently I'm on a VPS with WHM/cPanel but it costs for the license. I'm going with dedicated asap for cPanel/WHM and WHMCS
