Default Multiple domains?

Hello,

I have a shared Hatchling account and I would like to have multiple domains on it. On the live chat they told me that the only way to get that is upgrading to a Baby or Swamp plan.

But I only need multiple domains and not 300gb extra disc space, 3000gb extra bandwidth, addon/parked domains (Idon't even know what it is) or a private SSL. And it would cost a lot more if I upgrade. That way I pay for stuff I don't use.

I there a way to get multiple domains without upgrading to an other plan?

Simply put, no. If you are paying monthly it's only an extra dollar per month for the baby plan. How is that "a lot more"?

Don't forget you have to pay for the extra domain name(s) too.

I paid for 36 months and with a 20% discount (total: $142.56).

A Baby plan is $282.20 for 36 months.

282.20 - 142.56 = 139.64

And I use http://idotz.net/ for my domains.

The addon domains feature is what is used to have multiple domains. In order to host additional domains you would need to either purchase another plan or upgrade the one that you have.

Just go to www.hostgator.com/upgrade.php and upgrade the package from there. It does not take long. Also if you are concerned about pricing, email sales@hostgator.com and see what they can do about your 36 month contract and if some arrangements can be made

Yes, you can have as many addon domains as you wish with the accounts that include Addons. Each domain will have its own folder within your main account.
