How does the hosting of unlimited domains work? I already have hosting at another popular hosting company that claims to allow you to host 6 domains on one account and now I'm told that it's only actually domains being pointed to the site's index (or other page) or to a subdomain (subdomain at an additional cost).
How does this work here? Jeanne |

Jeanne,
on the shared hosting accounts you can have add-on domains (pointing to a subdirectory in public_html) or parked domains (pointing to your main domain). You can create as many as you want and there are no additional costs. All the domains share your one cPanel. If you want domains with a seperate cPanel for each you need reseller hosting. Stef. |

Forcing you to pay for sub domains is robbery! They cost the hosting company nothing! You are paying for the space right? Who are they to tell you how you use the space. (Ok, they can stop you from displaying content... but that is a legal issue) I suggest its time for you to come to HG and dump the other hosting company. Here only the Hatchling account is limited to 20 subdomains, the rest are unlimited! Which means you could have 100 urls pointing to different sites if you wanted. |
