Default Multiple blogs in one shared hosting possible?

Hey guys, am planning to start my very first website. I've decided to buy the "baby" plan.

But i have few doubts regarding the hosting. Is it possible to host two blogs with their own domains names like domain1.com, domain2.com with one hosting account?

Am newbie, so please tell me in detail how it can be done and if there will be any disadvantages/harm/etc by having two websites under the same host account. I went through the hostgator video tutorials, but all it taught was entering a domain name using the Addon domain feature. I know what addon domain does, but i also want to know how the file structuring etc will be in the root folder. Like will it be as simple as root/site1folder and root/site2folder?

p.s - Some additional info : one blog will be a tech blog, and the other will be my personal blog.

Yes with the baby package, you can do that.

It's very straight forward. The domain you use when purchasing your account will have it's web pages stored in the public_html directory.

When you are ready to add your second domain, go to cpanel, click addon domain and follow the prompts. The files will be located at public_html/youraddondomain/
