I'm not getting any help from the support on this site so far as how to move my databases from a host that has SQL 4.1 to this one which is SQL 4.0. They are not compatible and I really don't want to retype everything that took me days to type in the first place. Any suggestions or do I close this account and stay with previous host.
Please advise, anyone. |

Within 24 hours I've gotten responses from 6 different people telling me "it's fixed". No it's not fixed. I have decided to find another host that will help with support questions as my last host has. I was going for bigger disk space here. I guess I will pay more for disk space and still have better support there.

Not sure if you still need help, but just download the contents as a cvs file (or tar/gz file) and import, depending on the size you may have to split it up as there is a limit of size.

I did do that. The problem is the SQL versions. The version mine db are in is newer than what is on here. It won't let me upload them. So, I've been asking and asking since Sunday if one of the support people can do it for me. I've got the files sitting in my Public_html file, waiting for the right support person to help me. I went through this same thing when I had switched hosts before.

By any chance were you on a windows host previous?
I notice you keep using SQL when in fact HG uses MySQL, some shorten MySQL to SQL but have to ask. |
