As there isnt shell access, is there a quick and easy way to move multiple files? In the filemanager in cpanel it only allows to move 1 file at a time, which isnt really good when you need to move 50+ files.

Don't you use an FTP client?

I want to move files from /dir1 to /dir2.
In a shell i'd do: mv dir1/* ./dir2 And its not really a good way of doing it through ftp as i'd have to download 5-10mb then upload it again straight afterward. |

In your ftp client you can select the files you want to move and drag them to the new directory.

CuteFTP Pro (and many others) will allow you to copy/move files right on the server, so it shouldnt take moire than a few seconds.

Yep, my client handled it. I've been using ftp for years, just never thought to do the obvious
