I've been fairly successful running a small Magento online shop on HG shared Business plan. I've had a few incidents of what I believe may be PHP timeouts due to the constraints placed on shared accounts. Does moving to VPS relax allow greater values for:
php_value memory_limit 64M php_value max_execution_time I think being able to double the limits of these PHP values may make Magento more stable. I only use about 1.6 GB of bandwidth per month. Any Magento experience out there migrating to VPS or other recommendations? |

You have control over the php limits on a VPS or dedicated server so you can change the values as you wish.
