Default how is the move from existing host done?

Hi,

How is the free move from an existing host done?

im with ixwebhosting at the moment.

Initially I would like to replicate my gallery2 installs to HG.
Is there a way to keep these synched without using rsync (since ix doesnt allow this)

If Im satisfied will move all my data over.

What is the HG backup schedule for files and databases?

Cheers
Craig

If your old host is running cPanel you can take a full backup and HG will restore your full account from it (db's, emails, files etc)

We can transfer your files using FTP. Since you are not a cPanel user we will not be able to transfer any email accounts or do a full cPanel backup.

If you have databases we will login into your phpMyAdmin (or whatever software you use) and create a database dump and upload it to your account here.

If you need anymore questions answered please let us know.

Specifically, if I go with HostGator for a couple of accounts, (from *Pow*Web*) will you move a Gallery2 Installation (MySQL plus PHP plus files) to HostGator?

Thanks!
