May I suggest Avast Antivirus?

I was a dedicated user of AVG for a long time, but Avast is MUCH better. Furthermore, when you disable it.... it's actually DISABLED. (Whatta concept!)

And so far, anyway, no false alarms. AVG was triggering them all the time.
