Arrow Module Create Fail: (Curl Error) couldn't connect to host - code: 7

Hi,

I have configured and added the server but it seems that it is not connecting to the host regardless when I make a dummy purchase to trigger the auto setup..

Mine is using Cpanel and I have already make sure that the correct username and password has been entered into the Server >> Server Details..

I find out it could be due to:

"This response means you have a firewall blocking the connection. The port being used depends on what module you are using but for cPanel it would be 2086/2087, Plesk 8443, DirectAdmin 2222, etc... "

So my question is - how can I unblock the ports?

I appreciate any help and comments, thank you.

You didn't say what server package you are on. If reseller you can't change firewall settings yourself. If a VPS or dedi you can but what firewall are you using?

Best to open a ticket with HG to check if that is a likely problem.

A port needs to be opened on the server for this. Recently on many servers the port is blocked. Me too experienced the same problem.

Just submit a ticket to HG about this and ask them to open the necessary port for this.

Then it will surely works...

This is true. The error either means that the server firewall is blocking the connection, the port isn't open or the server IP address set in setup > servers is wrong.

I also recommend checking that under server IP you're not using the IP listed in your cPanel account as that's not the right IP. I made this mistake my first time

Hello,

This error suggests that either of the following are wrong under setup ? servers:

- server hostname
- server ip
- cPanel login

From experience it's normally the server IP, keep in mind that this isn't the IP that's listed in your cPanel, instead a single IP assigned to the server that your reseller account is on.
