Default mod_rewrite

How do use mod_rewrite? Is it under the Apache admin? I am trying to get permalinks to work in WordPress.

You can put your rewrite rules in .htaccess.

Simply create a file in Notebad or your html editor called .htaccess and upload it to your public_html folder.

I think he may have been asking about how to go about putting one together. If that's the case, you can Google on "htaccess" and find a ton of example tutorials. Here are just a coulple that explain how to go about it:

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/howto/htaccess.html

http://apache-server.com/tutorials/ATusing-htaccess.html

Hope this helps.

David
