Default mod_pagespeed

Hello all,

Just received a HG newsletter that outlined a new module for apache called mod_pagespeed and is available for VPS servers.

Was wanting to know if anyone has ever used this and will it improve performance at all before I send a ticket in to have it added to our server.

Thanks,
Scott

Before request hostgator require the payment of 35 USD to do that.
It considers custom software.

We have to find another way to install and test this!

Best Regards

wget https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/linux/d...ent_x86_64.rpm
rpm -i mod-pagespeed-*.rpm
service httpd restart

Tested on a phpbb3 forum and I'm not satisfied for the moment a lot of mistakes in a page view, disappearing logo, icons.
In my case it needs a bit more to play with the settings.
mod_pagespeed is still a beta.

Thinking of trying it out why my instance of phpbb3. Other that the missing images, etc, did you notice any performance improvements?
