Wow a monitoring service that floods you with reccomendations for other host
Did you confirm the downtime any other way? Seems like there would have been some other indication with a whole hour of downtime, especially in the middle of the afternoon.

i currently have 2 monitoring service's for it and one says it was down for 20 mins and the other says 60mins

Why was there such a difference in time? Anyway, monitoring is ok if you receive the notice and then go in and check. From my experience siteuptime.com did great as long as you used the paid service checking more frequently and from different locations. In two years as I reseller I never saw an outage longer than 20 minute and few in between. Now high server loads is a different story
