Today i requested the HG to enable Client Tutorials video plugin on my VPS and got it done within an hour. After enabling it, i visited the site i setup and notice there is a mistake in the video.
The video about canceling PayPal Subscription is showing the hostgator.com in the PayPal window shown, which is actually blurred out in the video tutorials i set up on my Reseller Hosting package. So someone please look into it and update the video.... |

I already sent PM to a staff here. He said it will be checked out, but still its not done.
And i have a way to overwrite the file with blurred one, will let you know once i do it successfully.. |

I just finally set up the Video Tutorials and when I saw that tutorial showed that a payment was made to hostgator, I realized that this was a huge oops.
I did a quick search in here and found this thread. Seems it's STILL not fixed! HG needs to get on the ball on this one because I'm going to have to replace it with one of mine... once I figure out how to do so. Edit: I know it's been a few months, however, since this is still relevant... and still not fixed, I figured I wouldn't be slapped for necro-posting. >_> Edit 2: I just rewatched the tutorial and also noticed that the tutorial for Paypal's out of date. HG will probably want to get on the ball for that, considering that the graphic differences by Paypal and the video tutorials will confuse customers. I apologize for the lack of response on your concerns. I have verified that the Canceling a Paypal Subscription video does have a reference to hostgator.com that becomes unblurred for a moment. I have alerted our video tutorial developer and he is actively working on modifying the video at this time.
I will make sure that someone on our end reviews the videos, but if you see any other videos that are not completely unbranded please let us know.

Has this been fixed? Checking the video tutorials again, it seems to not have been, unless it requires that one send in a support ticket to get that updated?

I checked the video for canceling a subscription and did not see the issue described. Are you still seeing this occur?

I had suspected I might need to request an updated video of the Paypal tutorials. |
