I will be switching my hosting over to Hostator very soon and the only thing I can see that might be a small bump in the road is migrating my clients email to the new server. My clients are setup with email through Horde. Has anyone come across this issue? Is there an easy way to go about migrating the email over? I have Googled a couple sites and have found that exporting folders may do the trick... What should I do when I am switching overt DNS and waiting for them to propogate? Redirect the email to Free account like gmail then switch it back once the DNS/MX records propogate?

If the current hosting uses cPanel then you could request to have the accounts moved by HG. That would include all of the mail accounts. If you go to the Account Addons page and select the Transfer Account option for a Shared or Reseller account depending on which account you are purchasing.
