Mercury causing problems

Im having SMTP Authentication problems for almost a month now, I'm on server: mercury
Can this be fixed? and how long will it take?

Do you have a SPF record setup on your domain? That has caused issues for all of my domains when I send mail using my email software. If you do, please let us know so we can assist you in fixing it without deleting the SPF record.

Okay, I thought so... just before I get more information for you, you are trying to send email via a software program right, not webmail?

yea I'm trying to send email via Microsoft Outlook Express program

Your SPF record should like something like this: (without the zeros)

"v=spf1 a mx a:000-c-00-000-000-00.hsd0.statehere.isphere.TLDhere ~all"

I believe an ISP IP address should go there..

what if I have other users that also use emails from my domain and their ISP IP addresses are different then mine?

it still doesn't seem to work, I even tried it without the SPF record, Im a reseller with hostgator and it seems like my clients are also having the same problems.

You can discard this thread. Apparently my firewall was automatically upgraded and was then blocking my outgoing emails for my domains in microsoft outlook express. But all is fixed and working fine. I thought it was the Mercury server causing problems, but I guess I was wrong.
